A Celebration of Women by Lord Kpuri

Nigerian artist and illustrator, Lord Kpuri, continues his signature celebration of the beauty that is Woman. We’ve featured his strong and unapologetic illustrations several times, and we’re happy to do so again. This time, the African contemporary artist shares his sketches of women adorned in their natural skin. Whether he intends for us to consume this in its entirety or just a show of his process, we don’t know. Regardless, we love it.

Here are some of his sketches, beautiful in their simplicity, but each of them gets us curious to see how they end up in the final illustration.
