Dominican Republic digital artist, Katia Herrera, celebrates so much through her vibrant creations. Her signature purple hues are in shades that span the spectrum, bringing to us mysticism, spiritualism, ancestralism and all things surreal. Her characters are mostly women who are engaged, and honestly at one, with all of these in a future that takes African culture to new heights and depths. They subtly manipulate mystical and ancestral forces in a celebration of life and embraced experiences, while being sultry and strong at the same time.
