Hueism by Derrick Boateng

Ghanaian artist, Derrick Boateng, continues to impress us with his literal interpretation of ‘pop’ photography! Boateng has carved a unique style that bellows that vibrant, loud and exuberant spirit of Africa. His subjects are always proudly adorned in their pure midnight skin, always exuding happiness, joy and excitement for the future.

It’s pretty apt then, that Derrick has recently published his body of work in a book titled ‘Hueism’, a word that makes us imagine the thousands of colorful shades that makes up life.
