Orishas Reimagined by Àsìkò

Àsìkò has captured our imaginations for a while now; so much so that we’ve featured his work twice before. But these latest creations take us to another level simply because of the deities that he brings alive with his digital and AI art.

In his latest works, called the Guardian series, the Nigerian-American artist manifests the African folklores of old. He imagines the Orishas (gods) in Yoruba folktales in such vivid detail, revealing how he would perhaps have created them.
