Surreal Afrofuturism by Jeff Manning

American digital graphic artist, Jeff Manning, creates these gorgeous images of Black people, literally drenched in golden and silver glory. Manning says that he has made it his mandate to ensure Black people are well represented as subjects in artwork.

Manning’s work can be explosive - you can see many pieces with flowers bursting out of the subjects, as if urging us to bloom and be anything we want to be. Others are clearly regal, infused with dignity like the Black Man should be.
