Tarotober Cards by Ukelaylie

American illustrator, Ukelaylie, first caught our eye on Instagram with this beautiful illustration of a young, black, whimsical woman on a farm. We stayed loving her art for their warm, hearty, color palettes and her constant portrayal of strong women, just doing what they’re doing, and being themselves.

Her tarotober series is particularly impressive though. Ukelaylie pushes herself with illustration challenges and we’re absolutely glad about the direction her latest push has taken her - into a series of strong, Black representation in tarot cards. Somehow it suits her style so well, with the illustrations just inviting you to shuffle and see what’s next.
