The Ancestor Series by Hadiya Williams

Hadiya Williams is an American ceramic artist with a beautiful vision. We’ve written about her work with ceramics and how raw but celebratory it is! Now she takes her art into a more personal and innovative direction by using AI as a medium and interpreter. Williams has deep-dived into research about genealogy and ancestry, and the Black women who went through The Great Migration in the US. She mixes this research and her signature geometric shapes and celebratory colours in a stunning culture pot of AI art.
