Afrocollage by Marcio Button

Brazilian based artist, Marcio Button, takes us on an explosive journey through nature, galaxies, stars and even other worlds. In most of his digital collages during this time, his work centered on a subject exuding strength and confidence, surrounded by life in the form of blooming flowers and pulsing colors.

There is a deep sense of connection in each piece, as if life and power are flowing through each subject in an invigorating loop - be it the proud Black woman or man, the fluorescent flowers, or the regal animals. What do you feel when you view these ‘afrocollages’?
