Collins Obijiaku's Portrait Stories

Self-taught Nigerian artist, Collins Obijiaku, shows that a seemingly simple portrait can tell a beautiful story about one’s life, and even their hopes and aspirations.

His almost dark and yellow monochromes gives us a glimpse of an individual’s life and where they are now. From a proud confident stare to a resigned gaze - each makes you wonder about the journey they have taken. Obijiaku also aptly represents this life journey using his signature lines which make up the portraits.
