Community by Moustapha Oumarou

Cameroonian artist, Moustapha Baidi Oumarou gives us good vibes in multicolour with his works. They centre around family, friendship, community, and just people simply enjoying their company and that of others.

Most of his images features prominent leaves, a sign of perpetual growth and prosperity, which is another vibe that shines through his paintings. Backgrounds of vibrant bold blues, oranges, reds and greens form a joyful backdrop for each piece. You’ll also find many subjects seemingly half-done with facial features missing, as if inviting you to transpose yourself and your loved ones onto these light-hearted snapshots.
