Ogadinma by Vanessa Endeley
The year of 2020 was a struggle for millions of people all over the world - but it was also a year of resilience and strength. Multidisciplinary Nigerian artist, Vanessa Endeley, chose to elevate this strength through her artworks of women she personally found inspirational because of their own endurance. Her celebration of womanhood and all the fortitude that comes with it reminds us that this same resilience is in all of us - her faceless portraits invite us to reflect this strength.
Ogadinma means ‘it is well’ in the Igbo language. This says it all!
