British-Nigerian designer, Yinka Ilori, blessed us with a colourful and uplifting homeware collection over the holidays. Ilori has been making a name for himself through his unique furniture designs (and more recently, installations and murals). He has typically up-cycled old furniture parts to give them new life - a life that showcases a merger between his British and Nigerian heritages.

He takes this same cultural harmony concept into his first homeware collection. First up are the playful and joyful designs and colours which speak to some nostalgia about his childhood. It actually (especially the trays) reminds us of some ‘80s trays you would find in Nigerian homes.

Whichever piece you choose though - rugs, throw pillows, plates, trays, mugs, they are sure to bring a burst of joy and fun to the home.
