American artist, Patrick Dougher, is one of the most versatile artists we’ve come across! He uses a host of multimedia to deliver deep and salient messages through his art. These messages, combined with his raw and gritty talent, makes this artist extremely powerful.

In this feature, we see his ingenuity, creativity and skill with his collages made on found 4’ x 8’ aluminium cans. On these creative canvases, he celebrates Black men and women whose influences have been unmatched across politics, art, poetry and revolutionary movements. In doing so, he plays his part in making sure that their memories, and all they stood for, live on in our society.
