Living Imaginations by Alexis Tsegba

Digital artist, Alexis Tsegba, brings dreams and imaginations to life through her digital art. Amazing and awe inspiring are pretty apt descriptions for the elaborate masterpieces she creates.

As she continues to experiment with digital media, and even AI, her creations have gotten more surreal and ethereal from the last time we featured her, if you can believe it!

But all through her experiments, the Nigerian artist continues to celebrate the divinity that is Africa. In one intricate piece of work, she depicts an indigenous figure seeking knowledge in a massive book, amidst a smokey forest filled with potentially knowledgeable supernatural beings peering out at them. In another, a local looks out into the vast but apparently barren vista; but their gaze is filled by the unworldly divine being blocking out the far horizon.
